Ludwig Blum

Ludwig Blum (1891–1975) was a prominent Israeli painter known for his vivid landscapes and cityscapes, particularly his iconic depictions of Jerusalem. This earned him the name "the painter of Jerusalem."

Born in Ukraine, Blum immigrated to British Mandate Palestine in 1923, where he became deeply inspired by the region’s unique light and natural beauty. His works, which combine elements of realism with a distinctive sense of color, capture the essence of Israeli life and landscapes.
