Aharon Messeg was  Born in Baghdad, Iraq, in 1942. Messeg immigrated with his family to Israel in 1951.  Aharon Messeg Started to paint as a young boy. One of Israel’s leading painters whom  works with oils and watercolors, arriving at images which are a fusion of elements of inner and outer landscape.Highly influenced by Arie Aroch's 60's body of work Messeg's images exhume organic overtones accentuating vibrant color and joyful imagery.Messeg began exhibiting his work in1967.He has had numerous one man shows Internationally.
